Massive multiple installs

Post by SubLime » Fri Jan 31, 2014 7:46 pm

Hey guys i have a question about installing massive on more than one cpu, on the website it says:

The end user license agreement (EULA) for Native Instruments products allows the simultaneous installation on two computers (three computers for all versions of MASCHINE and KOMPLETE), as long as only one installation is used at any given time.

It is not necessary to "deactivate" an existing installation to activate the product on any further machine, but due to the license agreement it is required to uninstall the product from the previously used computer.

Please note that Native Instruments reserves the right to disable an account or serial number if it has reason to believe that the license agreement is violated.

So does this mean if i give my serial number to a friend( were trading Massive for RPs Predator) and he installs it we will not be able to use the synth simultaneously?? like if hes using it at home i wont be able to use it at home??

Im just wondering before i trade with him although im not sure i really want Predator, but that's pretty wack if that's the case. We will have to make sure we are never using it at the same time. Might have to say no :(

Yeah that's what it's saying. I'm pretty sure that's the case because they don't want people to do what you're doing (they want people to buy it for themselves) They let you install the program on more than one computer so that if you have, say, a desktop as you're main computer, but you're going on a trip and can only take your laptop, then you could still have massive.

Yeah i had to say no unfortunately for him. He previously bought an install from someone who then moved out of country. So all his tracks used massive but since he cant update, his version is useless. I guess he has to buy massive for himself now( even though i told him to grab it on the black friday sale repeatedly) at full price. His loss:(

They can't, especially if you block it from accessing the internet
