First an fore most I couldn't give two shits and secondly, it's about as experimental as the next 2bob pop tune.

It's every genre associated with dubstep slowed down. It's not exactly ground breaking and IMO mostly very dull.

There! I've spoken now, you lot do one. :D
area records, strong output

dont think ur in the positon to be juding a scene's creativity and experimentation

Bit unfair to suggest that because Area's output is quite specific, that's all Be-1ne knows..

Really grew on me, initial listens didn't impress me a lot, but after a few more listens of the stuff that was on youtube, etc. I ended up grabbing the CD, really good. imo one of those pieces that work better as a whole rather than track by track.

Most definitely, as a whole its a great album listening from start to finish. I almost never draw for any of the tunes when mixing though.

Yeah, that's why I went for the CD rather than the vinyl, not likely to mix with any of the tunes, but more likely to stick it in the car or the hi-fi and just chill.

That intro tune is sounding proper

Wen has progressed a lot with his sound...Commotion EP was just a year ago and his new shit already sounds like its moved to the next level

No, just that most people in the scene live there and there's a guaranteed crowd. It makes sense.

I don't live in London btw.

Grovestreet's mix for Liminal Sound recently is sick. Also, Grovestreet is a sick name, that was the first I'd heard of him.

Just saw this free EP up on liminal sounds, only one of the tunes seems to be up for download, but the article implies they're both a free DL. Any idea anyone?
