is that a "130" tune then because it doesn't really sound like any of the other stuff in this thread, it just sounds like a dark dubstep tune with shuffly drums that's been pitched down by 10bpm, I'm still struggling to grasp what the identifiers of "130" are, is that tune "130" or just dubstep at 130? I honestly don't get it

besides, if that tune was just 10bpm faster most people in here would write it off as dungeon

I dunno man, nobody's written the rule book yet. Half the DnB released at the moment sounds like "sped up dubstep" but nobody's calling it that. I don't think there's any identifier other than "are Caski, Mumdance, etc's tunes being played by Dusk & Blackdown/others that play similar artists' or labels' tunes? if so, talk about in here" and the answer to that is, yeah, I guess.

Perhaps we should just have a thread called "the dubstep thread" and then people can post dubstep tunes and act like there's no significant difference between the different "strains" and that a single identifier is all that is needed for all the music that dubstep and grime has spawned over the last 14 years.

I totally see your point but to me that does just sound like a dungeony dubstep tune that's been pitched down

a bit unrelated but is src still around? always thought he was the best producer that came out of that "first wave" of "new" grime (read: butterz, oil gang et all around 2010)

Mr Murkles knows.

All the chat is funny at times but wading through it to find tunes is becoming hassle (audio) now

That Mr Mitch EP is gonna be massive, I think "The Man Waits" is my most anticipated tune for a while!
