This brook trout i caught in turtle creek pa which is a low water quality stream that is stocked with rainbow and brown trout

Brookies are highly sensitive to pollution but it made it to this stream somehow

I make an informed decision before i kill a fish

Like i said thats a sensetive fish, in a polluted waterway that reaches very high temperatures in summer/fall

I caught that fish in june and i know none of u can tell but its very pale

No trout in that stream survive past the summer to naturally reproduce, theyre all stocked once a year and either are

Caught
Die
Live max 2 years but never reproduce


So yes i killed and ate the poor fish
