I feel you. Most of those H words come from french. Fuck that. You need a giant nose to speak french properly anyway. Like you need the appendage.

nah im fucking with you lol cause pompous english speakers (especially news ppl on tv) like to say things like "in an historic occasion" or "in an historic event, the president of so-and-so has met with lil' kim the 3rd of north korea to discuss...." blah blah blah.

but if use the word historic or history or any other form of that word in any other context, you say "a historic"

I think, because there is a larger flow happening across the three words, an historic occasion. Whereas, an history, doesn't flow. It just stops, so no need to build the larger flow. That is my take, maybe dubuncle can clarify. ;)

Gotta run, ch'all. Y'all been fun, gotta take a crack at my TUNA! before the day consumes me.

i feel like it's easiest to leave the comments on soundcloud. less clutter on here. plus you don't have to say "the sound at 1:35" you can just put the comment at 1:35. so that's what i'm gonna do.

ok be patient with my spelling and way of thinking

@kaili
dig the breaks so far. nice little wierd sounds. feel this jungle? vibe. maybe a bit too far in the back overall
like bring it tad more in my face. dig those short reece sound that comes in at 1.25 use it more often adds another nice layer
overall maybe just push the whole sound forward abit. drumwork feels like you had some work to do there :W:

@mason
nice drums good punch. maybe a tiny sth on top of the snare? short crackle or smooth clap .works either way. could feel a long reverb as a send mildy worked into parts of the drums really smooth in the back
the guitar works really nice the bass you dont even realise which is a good thing it just helps out the groove dig it :Q: no trickery
maybe some moments where you drop the hi hats abit or a dif rythm in a few parts?
guitar works well together did you sample or record in layers? either way like it the panning too
not sure though if you might need sth to make it stick out some talking? some more ambience? the end this dark melodie bring it in as a break or even a part with jsut that and the sub would really like to hear that

@nowaysj
haha dunno man works nice maybe hm no works nice darker than your usual stuff. to short to tell where you take it but maybe a pad sidechained making it BIG the whole sound like goies stereo woudl be great ♥ than back to the beat outro voila

@dubuncle lol i just call by nowaysj now
dig the whole atmosphere you build maybe not sure a harder snare could work or some sidechain to make yours pop more like the hi hat work ♥ i dig the sub as it is but it feels tiny bit muddy not the bad muddy but i dunno just a feeling
overall you have a nice solid base here man maybe work the sounds abit more here and there
polish it i guess

@demaine
first one sinatra
clean nice drums everythings nice nice sub
haha yeha dunno nice job i usually cant listen to jsut instrumentals but i am sure this one would serve as a nice one for a storytelling rapper or sth not too hard needs to be smooth

after islay
yeah dig it aswell :W:
like those lowpassed vocals
maybe a clappy clap? but than again the whole beat works at it is mild not too hard hi hats are fine to me dig those shakers love the strings you bring in later musically really feel it
jsut finish it and maybe show us the full song not sure if 2.30 might be too short would like an outro here

@jazzman
yeah i liked the first wip i like this one haha. love all those little sounds. nice maybe drop the clap in your middle part for a longer period of time 2.07 feels to early for me or brig it in darker lowpassed
