Any of you fine people going this year?
http://www.dourfestival.be/en/lineup/
Not been before but Ive heard good things and since Glastonbury has fallen through for the first time in 4 years

Im open to EU stuff.
Unless something changes fairly soon, It works out £99 for 4 days + camping. Which is a bloody bargain.

If you can through some of the past Dour threads (there has been one every year here for the past few), you know it will be worth your while.
Even though prices have gone up a little this year, it's still by far the cheapest big festival around that I know of. Problem is, the past three or four years, the line-up has been awesome I kind of think this year will turn into a major let down.
But there's still plenty of fun to be had. I have time off from work from Thursday to Tuesday, so I should be going. Though the line-up is still far from enticing. Very weak up to this point (compared to previous years). Will wait for another 40 names or so to get announced before I'll cop a ticket. <
But I can't recommend the festival enough if you love to party and don't care too much about comfort and all that.

Just looked at last years line up, wow
If this year is anything like that I might consider this for how ludicrously cheap it is!

Might go again this year, been 4 years or so since I last went. The line up so far doesn't really get me warm though, hopefully that changes.
I can recommend the festival though if you're into the line up. Relatively cheap, always friendly faces around and the location is nice. Last time I went, me and the mates went to the town of Dour itself when nothing we liked was playing. Went to the local bar, and a chip shop that remarkably was also a massage parlor and a barbershop if my memory serves me correct. Quite a walk to do, but on the other hand, there was a big ass supermarket in the town center that wasn't overrun by people from the festival like all the other stores closer to the festival grounds.

Went last year. 32 degrees the whole weekend, barely any running water available.
Had an awesome time. Paid like €50 for entrance and campsite, but it's fairly cheap anyway.
Line up was huge then, but looks pretty good already. Can't make it this year though, have a wedding to go to.
Not sure what I'll be doing this summer festival wise, but last year I planned one big festival and
ended up going to 3

Ah well I remember looking at alot of last years and thinking who on earth are all these weird bands but Ive counted like 10+ people allready that I would be down for seeing and the price is the equivalent of two, day festivals in london.
Efox wherever hes hiding told me via facebook that madlib and stuff is supposed to be announced soon so it seems pretty diverse music wise.
Everyone saying its a good party is a big bonus aswell, thats what makes glastonbury sick

So more and more updates on the line-up and I'm starting to get worried.
Right now there are like four acts which I really want to see, three of them I've already seen (Spinn & Rashad being the only exception)...
There's some stuff that I know I would appreciate...like Mogwai or Goldie, Mala in Cuba...but not enough to really draw me in.
Has the underground been spoiled too much here the last three years? Or have I suddenly become so out of touch?
It clearly needs more Bass music...I was thinking of WEN or something off the back of a new album etc. And dark techno has been big the last year no? Modern Love, Avian, Liberation Technologies....that kind of stuff...I need some more underground shit here..I'm tempted to not go...well 80 or so more names yet to be announced but I'm starting to get worried here (and where's the metal?).

Bass music doesn't seem as relevant as it did a few years ago. I think the line-up is kind of standard for what Dour has become, really. It's heyhay was 2006 - 2009 and it has been on a bit of a decline since. There's good shit, but nothing that really blows me away.

They get 10€ more expensive starting April 1st. As you said though, I suppose there are still like 60 or so acts to be announced. I'm gonna wait for the final line-up I think, not too bothere about the extra 10€ as it is still cheaper than anything else of this size.
