Dunno about that, in the 50s and 60s a number of scientists pariticipated in a trial which had them drop acid and work on a problem. Long story short, it helped, and if I recall correctly it had something to do with the way LSD de-schematizes the brain, giving you a fresh look at things, and while many people do blow that out of proportion, there is some truth to the benefits of dug abuse.

They also use LSD for ppl with severe PTDS and the results are, from what i heard and read, very positive. But drugs doesn't change your life. In the case of LSD it can give you perspectives and boost your creativity, but that's not always the case.
