I don't remember him having his cock out.

They left a whole lot hanging, I was surprised it introduced so many new ideas . I expected some stuff with Marty's (ex) family as well.

he's one of the main child abusers if the victim's stories are anything to go by.. if marty's daughters were abused or exposed to anything it may very well have involved him

for a drawing done by a child the resemblance is there, sure..

Image

^this was a popular theory before the last episode but there was enough of a difference to be skeptical until now imo (i understand the victim/witness had been drugged lol)

anyway marty's kids would have had to attended one of the tuttle establishments for it to be properly consistent with what's happened to the other victims so far.. save your laughs for after next weeks episode ;)

The spaghetti man is a mask though surely? Not that that rules him out at all.

Great show, nice ending. Wasn't really any twists which I like, without leaving cliff hangers after every episode and spending half the episode clearing up previous cliff hangers/building new ones they had more time to develop a solid storyline.

Dark as.

Yeah, the ending didn't bother too much with many plot twists but it was another damn good episode. Much tension, again some good emotion and acting (Harrelson really grew in the show imho). That scene in Carcosa was pretty awesome.

Not the ending I would have predicted, great show. Wonder what the next story arc will be like (hoping its in a different environment as well. I love that Louisiana deep South shit, but would love it if they moved the next arc elsewhere).

A lot of people on the internet are butthurt over the last couple of episodes. It was great imo. I think the point, apart from the show being character-driven, was that you don't need Cthulu descending from a cosmic portal in a dark room to represent evil. The ending dialogue was meant to be put into the context of the show, darkness is everywhere and the stars may appear but they will never fill up a dark sky. The only thing left is hope. I was quite moved by the way Rust broke character at the end and how their friendship finally mended.

I will say I was surprised by all the clues about Marty's daughter left unsolved. But then again maybe they weren't meant to, "this is a world where nothing is solved".

I'm eager to see what next season will be about and if it's gonna be able to top this one

Aye. I think it was brilliant. With Marty's daughter (and other "loose ends") I feel that just accepting that shit like this happens is part of what the show is about. I guess all that stuff could be labelled a red herring but I wouldn't call it a fault of the show.

It wasn't what I expected, it avoided some predictable bits but didn't go for the shock/twist factor which I liked too. It was so dark that it really needed that ending.

I've just saw the last episode and i'm a happy man now. Really loved the atmosphere that was created in this series and i'm impressed by the acting of Matthew McConaughey. I just hope that they don't fuck it up in the second season.
