Certain Lagers and Headache?
So last night I was in the pub and i had about 5/6 pints of Stella over the course of like 6 hours, im not a regular drinker but it does take quite a lot for me to feel drunk. I'd got through the first 4 pints at a pretty standard pace but slowed down on the last two as I was playing poker, so after the first 4 i was feeling pretty tipsy but had basically sobered up completely as i was getting through the last two that I had, and over the course of about 30 minutes I start feeling a headache coming on.
By the time i'd got home and in bed and drank some water my head was completely pounding and i kept waking up and almost being sick.. But when the morning came i felt completely fine, But his was pretty horrible to say I wasn't even drunk at the end of the night.
This happens pretty often too, enough that it ends up ruining most nights for me when im drinking lager (which is all i ever want to drink if im not out down town). I don't drink often enough lately to be able to work out if its one specific lager that does it or just all of them but its actually fucking annoying.. And the only response anyone ever says is "ahhh just keep drinking it'll go away" but THEY DONT KNOW THE STRUGGLE
Does anyone else have this? I've googled it and the answers are mostly just dehydration, which it could be, but it sounds a little extreme.
Or, an allergy to brewers yeast or some of the chemicals in it

Stella's shit beer. Most lager in the UK is shit anyway as well, it's all about the ale and bitter.

Im the same way, if I drink 6 lagers im probably going to get bloated and feel sick and etc. Same with alot of pale ales. Now i usually just stick to dark ales or hard liquor
The same thing happens to a friend of mine after 2 beers, and he ended up having a gluten allergy so maybe its that?

a good lager is as good as any trappist, ale, black or belgium beer. The fact that is softer doesn't means that is worst. A really cold good lager in summer is the bees knees.
Most lagers on the market are shit though heineken, carlsberg, stella etc

If I've been drinking even say 2-3 drinks in an evening/afternoon and then stop and wait a bit I start to feel not so great, I just class it as an early mini hangover and be thankful that I don't have to look forward to it in the morning!

I only have this when I'm not well hydrated. So either drink some water in between
or do powders in the pub like Agent.

Re: Certain Lagers and Headache?
Could be a number of things ofcourse but allergy sounds realistic. It could be wheat allergy or it could be a light form of migrane or an issue with blood pressure that you only feel when your body tries to take on the alcohol.
We don't really know a lot about alcohol because the production processes (particularly wine) are so complex on a molecular level, other than it gradually dims all centers within the brain when we pour it down the face hole.
Which is so weird considering we know a whole lot about drugs

People need to listen to what their body is telling them. There's a good chance that either an impurity or the overall sugar/ethanol ratio is not copacetic with your body. Drunkenness itself is a kind of allergic reaction, so if you're experiencing symptoms of toxicity above and beyond the usual then pay attention.
This is true for way more than lager: this is true for anything you put in your body pretty much.

Spent 3 weeks in thailand drinking every single night, woke up every morning feeling like I hadnt had one. came back to uk, went pub, had about 5 or 6, went home, went bed. woke up next day with a twatting head. I deffo think its all the shit put in for the uk market.

you dont think the thailand climate and possibly fresh vegetables grown in the sun and being out in the sun etc helps a bit? there's without a doubt stricter rules for what you can put in beer in the uk than in thailand.
