UK born queen of South African dubstep Funafuji explores the wonders of South African electro and kwaito. Having founded the legendary night "Step Up," Cape Town's premiere bass music night, she's recently transported herself from Cape Town to bring her prolific talents to NYC. The NYC bass community and Deep Space welcome Funafuji to her new home with open arms!
She describes her sets as, " bass heavy, phat, wobbley dubstep muuuusak" but we know her sets give us the most intriguing blend of slow, fat, ambient tunes, and African, reggae and house-lovin' vibes. Please join Deep Space in welcoming a great artist to her new hometown, and new family.
