Hahahaha how have I only just noticed how sick the Boomkat write-up bloke is

About SYSTEM 001
V.I.V.E.K. initiates System Music, his label spawned from the cultishly adored, eponymous dubstep event. The monstrous 'Asteroids' is exactly the sort of riddim you'd expect to hear pumped thru his home-built stacks; a pure reduction of layered subbass frequencies and concise, glancing percussions which ricochet off into acres of simulated warehouse space. It's probably one of the finest deep time dubstep meditations we've heard in years, no sh*t. So, it's sort of a shame that we're faced with the morcheeba-styled vocals from Mel Dymond on the flipside version, 'Over My Head', which sounds like it was written for a late night episode of Hollyoaks dealing with a storyline about hardcore tack abuse in middle class Cheshire, whilst Om Unit's remix tweak offers redemption with ace D&B compatible halfstep throb. Tipped otherwise.

much better than:
Over my head featuring Mel Dymond is as sublime if not rawer in emotion and feeling as asteroids due the creepy echoed vocals. Her flawless oration tints with echoes that pulsate into raw emotion and feeling that works effortlessly with the track. At one point in the track there is simply a sea of bass with echoed vocals hauntigly calling you. This is as deep as it gets

I've literally just realised it's not ball-kank-skee, it's balkan-sky.

I would post this in the random thoughts thread, but I don't want it in my 'view your posts bit' so fucking deal with it. stnuc.

A mate of mine has to write some of them for an Australian label and they are absurd. Who honestly reads them and say "yeah this is about what I got out of it too"
