i have this weird thing for surreal, gigantic stuff like that, usually found in 70's and 80's movies. kinda like david lynch's dune. boring ass shitty movie but there's some huge ass stuff and interesting set design there

These flickers could be triggered by shifting soil layers which generate huge electrical charge, say scientists.

Using a tub of plain kitchen flour, they discovered an entirely new physical phenomenon.

They announced their findings at the American Physical Society meeting in Denver.

"Our first suspicion was this has got to be a mistake. There must be something stupid we are doing," said Professor Troy Shinbrot, of Rutgers University, New Jersey.

"We took a tupperware container filled with flour, tipped it back and forth until cracks appeared, and it produced 200 volts of charge.

"There isn't a mechanism I know that can explain this. It seems to be new physics. "

1.15pm - nerves are high... i airdrop it to my normal housemate who has a mac thank god (its 2014 ffs. even poors can get one on finance there is no excuse)

I'm not gonna pick sides or anything, not too clued up on what's going on, but at least the guy that's making the accusations is backing it up with evidence and there are other producers who seem to give credence to his claims, but his fanboys are painful. As he said, they ask him for evidence, he posts it, and they deny it anyway.
