Networking with Sound Designers

Whats up guys?

I'm not a noob but I definitely have a long way to go in terms of my sound design skills. I actually had a big long talk with my Dad about my production ambitions and he supports me wholeheartedly which is great. I'm still in University and I could've started a business but honestly, I just was not happy. Being able to pay your bills and have nice stuff is great but man... what's the point of it all if you aren't doing something you love?

Anyways, I'm putting 4hrs into sound design a day as I want my sound design skills to be a major strength in my future tracks.

I'm looking to network and become 'e-friends' which guys who are serious about sound design. Like I said I have a long way to go but with my work ethic it's only a matter of time before I get good and I'll gladly share whatever I make with people, etc.

Just looking for guys who dont mind talking sound design once in awhile on Skype, sharing techniques, sharing production resources, etc.

If there's one thing business school has taught me so far it's that networking is beyond key.

ps, I'm not a moron and am not going to hit you up everyday/annoy the shit out of you, I've taught myself to be very independent and really learned how I learn, how to learn, etc.

I should've also mentioned I mainly use Massive and have learned the basics of FM8. I love NI stuff, going to jump into Kontakt for Sampling when I'm prepared.

Synthwise I think Massive/FM8 will be my go-to's but I'll probably learn Sylenth later on for leads as it seems very simple.
