its true that most studios prefer macs tho

cos its all round and shiney and theyre all fucking idiot designers who care more about how things look than how they work

at my last job i worked on a computer like that. pc computer, mac os.
i have really thought about that for when i get round to building a production comp

is it easy lol? im shit at that kinda stuff

AND, does it straight up work? or is it some cheat/hacking way of doing it, cus i just like things to be how they are and work properly
It's legit. I worked at a pretty legit place. Don't think they'd be torrenting osx or anything like that lol. It worked flawlessly as far as i could tell but I'm not big into computers so I could be wrong.

You probably have to buy it. it's probably easy but costs some money, I'm guessing.

It's actually illegal to install osx on to non Apple hardware.

Actually rainmeter is fully customizable, so if if you are design savy you can make it look how you wish.

Yeah every single engineer, dj/artist and studio technician is an idiot.
I've explained this 100 times on here already.
You really think people who spent upwards of a million on loudspeakers and isolation get mac towers because they look better

The newest mac desktops are impractical though and Apple is a bitch.
We'll be seeing more hackintosh computers in studios now.

(woops the discussion was steered towards the aesthetics of OS  )

What would you know? You think osx is pretty with its dated skeuomorphic icons and bubbly menus :corncry:

also agree with this. apple have gone seriously down hill since iphone and ipad - they just wanna target the idiotic world now, as opposed to professionals like they did before
