I've exhausted everything there is to do on FO3 and NV, only so many play throughs you can do and needed something to bridge the gap before FO4.ehbrums1 wrote:I prefer fallout personally, but still fun

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Is this game hench? Got it for a tenner from game the other day as I'd heard it's pretty long.
Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
its not very long. just really wide. sounds stupid but there is a difference. you can complete the main story in a few hours if you want. but there is sooooo much else to do. like hundreds of hours worth of stuff if you wanna do it.garethom wrote:Is this game hench? All that melts away when the lights are down and the bass is up.
Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I played it for a bit when it came out but I lost interest pretty soon, partly because of work. I'm not a massive fan of open world games but I might give it another try

Sweet, got it with the three add on packs so should keep me going for a whileRiddles wrote:its not very long. just really wide. sounds stupid but there is a difference. you can complete the main story in a few hours if you want. but there is sooooo much else to do. like hundreds of hours worth of stuff if you wanna do it.garethom wrote:Is this game hench? Any decent weapons worth getting?
Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
depends how you're gonna play it tbh, there are unique weapons of every type that you get through different quests.wub wrote:Sweet, got it with the three add on packs so should keep me going for a whileRiddles wrote:its not very long. just really wide. sounds stupid but there is a difference. you can complete the main story in a few hours if you want. but there is sooooo much else to do. like hundreds of hours worth of stuff if you wanna do it.garethom wrote:Is this game hench? Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Like most games where you can collect/upgrade weapons, I'll just complete it with the default sword

I got the 3 add on packs after completing it, having difficulty drumming up the will to actually play through them.Riddles wrote:depends how you're gonna play it tbh, there are unique weapons of every type that you get through different quests.wub wrote:Sweet, got it with the three add on packs so should keep me going for a whileRiddles wrote:its not very long. just really wide. sounds stupid but there is a difference. you can complete the main story in a few hours if you want. but there is sooooo much else to do. like hundreds of hours worth of stuff if you wanna do it.garethom wrote:Is this game hench? I just crafted a lot and made my own weapon and armour, never really used any of the unique weapons. <3 glass mace of paralysis.
Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
So you can collect things to craft your own stuff? Sweet.
Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Yeah, just beware that you can level up quite a lot just through crafting, which means your combat skills could end up a bit weak if you concentrate too much on crafting early on.
But if you do decide to craft your own high end stuff, don't neglect Enchantment as you can get pretty powerful add-ons to your equipment that way.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Might be a silly question but how do you improve combat skills if not through leveling.

Thought so.
Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Is there any way to copy steam games from one computer to another with having to download them again?

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
you can make a backup iirc.
