I can see how that tweet came across as self-congratulatory but somehow I don't think he meant it that way, I think he was more expressing his amazement at how many people have been subscribing in general, I don't think he was implying that this was solely because of his own contribution, but I can see how it could be read that way.

Anyway, a lot of hate for Compa in this thread which I think is a bit unwarranted (not a fanboy btw as I've never massively rated him as a producer); he's basically living the dream of a lot of the vinyl / acetate purists on this board who so open mock him so it kind of comes across as jealousy

I meant jealous because he's a producer / DJ signed with Medi who is playing out around the world. That is a position that probably like 50-75% of the forum plebs would like to be in, whether they admit it or not. Compa is not too far removed from the typical vinyl obsessed DSF'ers who mock him, except that unlike them he has actually had some degree of success
