Demo is indefinite, no saving or exporting. Plugin key stealing could be a pain. Luckily most midi gear has transport controls so it's not that inconvenient for the time being.

For my workflow it is extremely inconvenient. I start and stop 4,5 times a minute while mousing.

I'm assuming it'll be fixed. There was just an update to download so it might already be patched.

I kept praising bitwig despite the delays, I was like at least they're taking the time to release a solid app, it shows a real commitment to quality. Hehe.

I like the incremental updates that have been going on so far. I imagine it's mostly just some adjustments to follow such a large scale release, but it'd be nice if they kept that pace up, Reaper style.

Just tested the most recent update, space works fine while focused on an audio effect and polysynth.

TIP: Maybe who doesn't know it. To record the BitWig Output you could use Soundflower.
And re-record in your main daw.

Can't you also just record an audio file within bitwig and then drag it to a folder on your drive in the browser? Or does it consider that exporting? Haven't tried yet.

Circumventing the demo restrictions regarding exporting projects to audio

You're not allowed to render audio? Haha.

How are they getting audio out? Is there a temp folder when you bounce in place?

Doesn't work for me still (v1.0.2) - when editing controls in a 3rd party VST/VSTi, if I press space bar the audio continues.

Here's my biggest problem with the demo. When I open up Massive in a track and start fooling around with knobs, it takes the focus away from the DAW so that the spacebar no longer triggers the play button. This is something that I can do in Ableton. I will write the notes out and then start fooling around with the wavetables, all while relaunching the clip by double tapping the spacebar. No sure if there is a feature I'm overlooking or...?

Anyone found out how to solo a send channel?
If I solo the send channel I get no audio in the sends.
It's like SOLO kills the channels Sends too :(
