posted an earlier version of this quite a while ago, still got a couple minor tweaks left to make but feel like it's probably around 90% finished, any feedback/criticism/suggestions before I call it finished would be really helpful

Sound design is on point and the structure/composition is interesting.

But I sence the highs struggling with that compression.
Like the very high end is getting squeezed and therefore squeal a bit.
It could just be SCs compression though.
The problem here imo, is that the lowend sounds great and probably needs that same compression.

Personally, I would never trust to be able to boost above 1200 hz with eq.

Sorry it's not that helpfull tbh, but this is so close to a releasable standard imo.

dont think there is even any compression on the highs other than for shaping transients on individual hits >.< it could maybe be the master limiter or something, altho i didnt use it for GR, just to boost the volume. could be soundcloud tho, definitely tends to mess with the highs on my tunes. ill definitely look into compressing the low end tho so good shout on that cheers

Limiting and compression is the same tbh.

Gain structure > treating the master as a bus.

I would even say straight up clipping/redlining your drums> anything on the master, at least as a rule of thumb.

oh and fuck the technical shit, the track is cool :W:

- Cheeky, that's really nice man, really got that garage vibe nailed down tight, great work
- Kai Li, big as ever mate, nice warm sub and I love that reversal on the second drop, sounds sweeeet
- Hedley, house aint really my thing but I like what you're going for, all very well produced and that high synth has a definite Skweee vibe to it which I like a lot, funkaay!
- Lye Form, again I'm not too big on house but I can't fault the production or composition, strong 90s flavour to it as well, good stuff

Cipher and myself started this the other night, only a couple hours into it but definitely like the direction it's going in, any feedback and ideas of how to progress it would be great, cheers :)
