Compas tunes on the other hand, Mala has been opening his sets and constantly playing them for ages before releasing. Not to mention Jay 5ive who everybody CONSTANTLY says how Anti Social is miles better than Yunx show.

Also me thinking he's a bit annoying online and finding his tunes kind of dull (and I'm not a fan of his style of production) are completely separate issues. I've already said I don't know what he's like in real life and then said I and a lot of other people I personally know aren't fans of his music. I'm not sure why people keep insisting that it's something really petty and that anyone saying they don't like his music, this mix or anything else to do with him is some matter of jealousy or trying to sound cool.

I have no personal problem with the guy. never met him/spoke to him.

I dont like his music and the way he sells himself/attitude.

re the Mala thing: Mala has made some great tunes and released great stuff on Medi so big up. It doesn't mean because he likes something we all have to either.

If Compa acted normally, had a bit of humility i doubt anyone would say anything against him, but being an arrogant tnuc AND making sub par tunes the guy has it coming (imo).

Yeah I noticed after I posted lol. None of what I've said has been aimed at you, at least you've been honest and said people probably have a go because of his past use of social media or whatever.. which basically proves people are hating because its him.

So you're letting other peoples experiences with him effect your opinion? I never said you have to like it because Mala does I was just saying attacking someone because you don't like someones music is pretty ironic considering you labelled him a 'massive speng'. If Compa acted normally lol, but you just admitted you don't know him personally or even care about what hes like. So why would you change your tune if he changed his? And you think attacking people and joining in a mass-internet hate on a guy is normal

The way I see it, you either dislike him for personal reasons and therefore bang on about how shit his music is, or visa versa, you hate his music and his success/the way he presents himself and therefore hate him/make personal attacks. Either way its pathetic.

It's completely separate though. This mix is boring because dj sets where producers play nothing but there own tunes pretty much always are regardless of who they are. Then add in I don't really like his tunes anyway. Then add in the way he sounds when labeling his tracks like we're somehow privileged to be hearing them as they're exclusives and surely you must be able to see why I'm not exactly enthusiastic about it all.

Also I can't stand the level of Mala worship that goes on in this forum. He makes really great tunes and I own a bunch of deep medi bits but that doesn't mean his taste is the official mark of what is good music like you guys act or that he's some musical messiah.
