Whenever you take any drug which inhibits the reuptake or promotes the release of serotonin your reserve gets depleted. This rebuilds though.
This is what explains chronic users of such drugs needing to increase dosage after extended periods of exposure in order to achieve the same results.

its not permanent. ur brain needs like 2~ months to get back to fully "normal" serotonin levels
if u smash it loads tho for an extended period of time ur serotonin production can be permanently damaged afaik, but im pretty sure u have to go absolutely sick

if u wanna boost levels quickly tho u can have a suppliment called 5htp, which is one of the key ingredients ur brain produces to turn into serotonin. probs not good to rely on that tho

I've done salvia on a couple occasions and I have no idea how anyone could say its like weed. Maybe they had a low extract or didn't smoke it right, but idk, its full on hallucinations for 5-10 minutes.

Me and my friends would do salvia at this spot by a river when we were like 15. It was ridiculous. You literally are not aware that you're still you (ie you wouldn't know your name or have any memories of yourself). You can't see anything in the real world around you. Everything you see is fake hallucination shit. You can't say anything that makes any sense.

I did it a bunch of times but the only thing I really remember hallucinating about was like thinking i was inside a huge building (like a skyscraper) that had no floors or anything, just walls, and i could jump up to the top of the building and down like i was on a really strong trampoline lol. Like the walls wizzing by you at 100 mph. All the walls looked black with like weird colors moving through them, like out of some old nintendo video game, like you were in rainbow road or something. completely fake nothing like the real world at all.

Also you couldn't walk or do anything even if you tried, including driving apparently.

Good thing about it is you are way too fucked up beyond belief to have a bad trip. I'd probably freak the fuck out on the 30 second come up though if i did it now. Its weird how 15 year olds can do things with zero reservations about them and older people can't...
