Re: EURODANCEOFF
And Hudson Mohawke's older stuff has elements of that stuff too.
Progressive house is perhaps just a minimalisation of that stuff at it's best imo.

Re: EURODANCEOFF
Yeah but Night Slugs, Hudson Mohawke, Rustie etc have the drum patterns and whatnot that still make it feel "cool"
I'm talking about straight 4x4 hi tempo cheese
Like what you hear in generic club scenes in movies from the early 2000's and 90's.

I'm quite partial to progressive house even though I recognize it can be really boring and flat sometimes
This tune is one of the first real club tunes I really loved actually

Re: EURODANCEOFF
No in fact you got the thread back on track. Guess we need one for bland minimal/prog as well

Anyway, some more 90s cheese. Thought of Snap - Rhythm is a Dancer, but can't find a good upload.

Re: EURODANCEOFF

I used to have a good friend who was cool as fuck. He listened to bro, metal and hardstyle but was still a safe AF guy. One of our most frequent topics of discussion was how much we hated Scooter
. Probably mostly it being a case that it's gr8 2 h8 but whatever.
