just saw this. Most meal deals, tesco etc you can get a chocolate bar instead of crisps. so get 2 sandwiches and a snickers. not difficult issit

Sainsbury's is trying to be too upmarket for my liking. The only good thing about the Sainsbury's near mine is that all the fine student gals go shopping there.

Nah, they generally produce different stuff, and Tesco's things of the same brand look and taste better. Outside of the meal deal, I find that Sainsbury's is generally over priced.
