Yeah, not much a fan of Freeze, but Rootz is my most anticipated dnb tune of the year

Yes yes to that Dom & Roland. Classic samplage.

This new Noisia: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZCnjNwI83M

Not a massive fan of the robotic vocals but swear they just slaughter everyone else when it comes to mixdowns

i can understand why people like proper high production values/ great mixdowns n that. Never find myself swayed by it personally, at all - much more about the content rather than processing for me. would take tune with poor mixdowns and good ideas instead kinda thing

new Doc Scott future beats radio, always fucking sick https://soundcloud.com/docscott31/futur ... w-03-04-14

^true but when you're out and sometimes a tune is just a level above everything else mixdown/sound design wise = undeniable scewface. Doesn't really work as well imo in say that Noisia set its ripped from where its 90 mins of tunes like 'who can make the gulliest reese/henchest stab' but here and there it works I think. Same goes for Calyx & Teebee & their ridic. sound design

Also, new Brownswood compilation: 'Electr*c Volume 4': can stream a nice new Deft track from it: http://www.factmag.com/2014/04/07/gille ... rack-here/

Inflect is starting off their label with some serious fire, really looking forward to that Coleco release. Also, that Big Dirty tune is nastyyyy.

For those who might have missed it the preorders for Stray's Exit EP are up: http://www.surus.co.uk/Exit-Records/Cha ... 24584.aspx

Is Fracture next up on Exit after this? I heard there's an Om Unit collab coming on his EP....

Hybris LP forthcoming Noisia's third (lol) label.
how Hybris hasn't gone on to become one of the largest numbers in dnb is beyond me.

Seriously surprised by how good this EP is. Title track is pretty great, and Dislocate in particular is out of this world. Feels like all the tracks are just full of cool ideas executed really well.

Obviously, but I thought it was kind of hard to judge from the previews just exactly how good it would be. Right now it's on my top 10 best releases this year, wasn't expecting it to be that cool before I bought it

today i bring you one of my fave tunes i had to get the artist give me a wav of since i wore the 10" it was on out too much from playing it. He now makes great everything but dnb and the 10" was ltd run, but goddamn it's one of the hardest drumfunk tunes ever made with that tech step/neuro crossover I've always wanted to do.

Oh and after years of chatting/talking he doesn't remember what breaks he combined to make it.
