There's naught wrong with a nice ale now and then again. IPA's EPA's are nice. Also Abbott's and Wainwright's are really nice ales.

yeah it's bland chemically generic lager. It's a bit better than all the standard super market lagers but it's still in the same area. People just have an association with it that lifts it a little higher than it needs to be
