Nah because Eric has some weird thing about making a point of being a pleb regarding beer like it makes him cool

it does though
honestly though, after a hard day grafting(wanking b2b hitting refresh on here), if you gave me the choice of a cold pint of stella or some flat brown shit that cost a tenner...id take cold pint of stella EVERY time

on topic though the two categories can totally integrate
it takes time to find these gems of men, but they do exist
i have a pretty strong group of friends now who fall into both categories - will neck a stella while smashing ur m8s sista, but at the same time have a strong appreciation for warmth and detroit

Ironic that you go on about food so much but talk about beer like someone who lives of ruslters burgers
I mean I will drink any old shite beer wise. I'll come to a party with whatever crate was cheapest at the super market but I genuinely like good beer and will spend good money on it if it's worth it same way as spending a bit more on good food can be worth it.
I'm not a beer elitist but I do object to anyone writing good beer off and trying to defend themselves in any manner other than "I guess I have no taste in beer at all"

also i dont think 'shit' beer is shit

tbh, the only reason stnuc like this is cos Skream had a tune called "Pass the Red Stripe", and then they just act like it's amazing. Cans of it are horrible, tastes as shit as Carling or Carlsberg.
Stella or even Tennents is better.

Yeah but liking crap lager is like liking going to Maccy Ds. I enjoy it but it's not exactly what you'd call good.

Why do you see it that way with food but then shun nice beers? It's like I will eat Maccy Ds and go to a good restaurant and so will you. But when I do the same with beer it's all "Fuck buying nice beer only the cheap option" like it somehow is cool

I can honestly say I've never met a person who drinks it because of skream. Its usually more because "reggae and jamaica are so cool!!! 1!!"
It really goes down easily tho

I drink it because it was the better one of the lagers at the phoenix in Exeter. Also out of the super market ones it's a bit better than fosters and the like so if it's not too much more I'll grab it

Honey beer is kind of sugary. Not really a fan
Mead is great. Making me homesick as the only shop in the village where I was living sold it. haha
