I've been booked to play a b2b set at mint lounge in manchester from 1-2. sick club and good timing but i'll be going b2b with someone whose not the best dj and will be playing stuff like bondax and karma kid. im going to keep pushing the tempo up i guess and force him to play garage. ah well

Offer him a good sized line of 'coke' 15mins before you're due to go on. Once he slips into a k-hole, take over and play by yourself for the full hour.

thats cool, but i never really got making people play b2b if they don't play the same kinda stuff. surely it doesnt make a good set for the crowd?

the ket coke trick is a classic might be the only way tbh. i've seen people ironically clapping djs before diego, as part of a similar strategy so they are both tried and tested methods.

i dont really get why either riddles. i usually play a mixture of good house, garage and grime so i guess the promoter just thought we both play house and 'garage' disclosure stylee

When I was little me and my mom were delivering like thomson local or yellow pages or w/e and like this one house had a fake well on the front lawn and i was looking in it and the woman in the house knocked the window and literally told me to 'shoo' like I was some kind of fucking animal or summat.

Didnt realise they booked B2B, thought it was more a "we are mates lets combine our sets and go b2b" sort of thing.

Speaking of that, I saw a line up with Cajmere B2B Green Velvet, which made me laugh as thats like Paul Woolford B2B Special request
