Ableton Push is pretty neat, though my iPad hooked up to ableton using lemur and Live Control 2 has more functionality, but it was definitely a pain to get working properly. Definitely a lot faster than I am at writing tracks, i really should focus on getting the entire structure of something first.
Don't really understand the hate in the comments on that video saying its generic and boring. What did you expect? You put someone on the spot and give them ten minutes to write, I doubt anyone could do much better.
