Seeing as one of your main points of contention is that immigrants are coming to the UK and taking jobs/robbing benefits, it seemed relevant.jaydot wrote:when you start going on about who can work /study and who can't
But if you want to step away, fair enough. I won't think any less of you

I got signed off by the doctor hey blame him not me.wub wrote:Seeing as one of your main points of contention is that immigrants are coming to the UK and taking jobs/robbing benefits, it seemed relevant.jaydot wrote:when you start going on about who can work /study and who can't

As I say I do voluntary work, I'm trying to manage my illness so I can work/study in the future, and I'm a law-abiding member of the community.

a law-abiding member of the community. just like the vast majority of immigrants who come to this country, work and contribute economically and culturally. without the immigration we've had we wouldn't have the NHS, London underground etc. ore even any culture to be proud of.
Lol without immigration england would be so shit. imiagine next time you went for a curry and a beer, you went for jellied eel instead. this would be morris dancing forum not dsf. stop being such a retard

Re: Reasons why a UKIP vote is a good vote
It'll be interesting to see if you maintain these anti-scrounger views if your life on benefits continues much longer, Jaydot... my brother was on long-term sick and disability benefits due to a severe eye condition that his Doctor classified as serious as blindness, but since the Conservatives got in he's been denied it because the new assessment forms only ask "Can you read a computer screen?", not "Can you read a computer screen for more than 2 minutes without having to spend 3 days in a darkened room?". Computer says no.
Luckily, he's got parents who can house and support him despite being retired and he'd already been positioning himself to start a business that suited his disabilities, but if he'd been a bit more 'normal', I've no doubt he'd currently be living either on the streets and developing whatever mental illnesses and drug addicions found him or living on mine and our other brother's handouts. Living off his parents handouts into his mid 30s has caused pretty serious episodes of depression which have slowed his return to the working world no end... he's almost there, but the last few years have taken a lot out of him.
UKIPs stance is effectively that even the Tories are too loose with benefits, so I imagine they're planning to tighten things up even more if they get any sort of power. It might mean a few extra false claims get weeded out here and there, but having genuinely needy people forced onto the streets isn't a price worth paying. Some people will always abuse the system... unfortunately, if you want to make sure all the people that have genuine need get theirs, you just have to deal with a bit of dishonest waste here and there.

That's just it they don't contribute culturally, really. All they do is make you feel like an alien in your own country trying t impose their own culture on us by opening Polish shops on every high street, and speaking their own language in public. They don't integrate. I don't mind some migrant groups who ok they take blue collar jobs and are a drain on our alreasy over-stretched NHS, but they're harmless enough,) can't stand Romanians and Bulgarians who it just seems will want to steal and cheat their way through their time in the country, leave the EU and we won't be obligated to take such parasitesDJoe wrote:ffs

What bastards, how dare they start their own business and communicate with one another in their native tongue.jaydot wrote:All they do is make you feel like an alien in your own country trying t impose their own culture on us by opening Polish shops on every high street, and speaking their own language in public.
Seriously, you're trolling us now, right? Or is this a side effect from the meds?

edit: Yeah how dare they come over here and expect us to accomodate them. The country's not your own anymore there's too many foreign tongues jabbering on on public transport etc. Feel like I'm in Bucharesti or smwh idk. This generationo of immigrants has been a cultural and economic failure. (we're still on our arses desite millions flooding in, they're sending money home for their brothers to come in and rinse/repeat).

Re: Reasons why a UKIP vote is a good vote
This is just ill-thought out prejudice. Don't integrate? What about all the mixed marriages happening all over the place? What about the Polish restaurants? All the flavoured vodkas now on the market? What about Wojciech Szczęsny taking selfies at White Hart Lane, eh? Yeah, they don't give a fuck about learning local traditions, do they?jaydot wrote:That's just it they don't contribute culturally, really. I imagine people made the same complaints, in fact I know they made the same complaints because I was a wide-eyed and easily shocked kid, when Indian, Bangladeshi and Pakistani immigration was most visible... I remember the most well stocked local cornershop being dismissed as the Paki Shop even though it was run by Bangladeshis. I remember some of my friends being banned by their parents for going in and instead having to buy sweets from the clearly inferior English-run shop. Of course, a cultural impact isn't felt immediately - a few decades on and the Chicken Tikki Masala is one of our national dishes and we think of ourselves as a "Nation of Shopkeepers".

Re: Reasons why a UKIP vote is a good vote
I just find it hard to believe that someone can make statements like that and be serious about them. And the irony in all this is that you're doing it on a website about DUBSTEP, itself a genre that is heavily influenced by soundsystem (immigrant) culture.jaydot wrote:You're being a tnuc now, end of discussion.
If we're ending the discussion, then closing remarks seem apt. In which case I think you're a racist scrounger who doesn't contribute anything to 'the pot'. You're not working, you're not studying, you're just leeching off the tax payer. And yet you're ripping into immigrants who may be hardworking and paying taxes, branding them all as workshy benefits cheats who need to be deported.
I used to think you were just a bit slow, maybe borderline Asperger's. But after this thread, I've honestly downgraded you in my estimations to scum.

I still feel that even the Pakistani, Indian etc generations of immigrants have yet to fully integrate and probably never will let alone the Polish, Slovaks etcmagma wrote:This is just ill-thought out prejudice.
