Seef - Shed ( Dubstep) (first song)

Post by Seef » Mon Apr 07, 2014 4:57 pm

Sup guys!

This is my first attempt at a dubstep song... I'm still trying to get an ear for things and having a just okay pair of headphones and trying to mix everything is hard for me. Any advice/suggestions would be awesome!

1st I think you really need to work on your mixing I highly recommend you invest in high quality headphones or speakers (for music) if you're serious about making music or even as a hobby that is a good place to start.

2nd you need to work on the structure of your music listen to music you like and analyze it so you can better understand where things are supposed to go at least generally for certain genres

Work on those two things and make more music would be my advice! I hope this helps :)

Thanks for the input!! And yeah I'm very new to mixing. Right now I have a pair of Samson sr850s but I have some m50s coming in the mail and I hope to get some monitors sooner than later!
