Anyone into circuit bending???
for some reason I've only just got into this - well admittedly only from an armchair perspective w/ youtube videos and such - and checking out some of the pre-made toys available on ebay (yes its cheating but some are pretty sweet imo - i.e. the freakenteach) ... also the realization that dub sirens are really just home-made circuit bents put into a tidy pedal box...
yeah so does anyone on the board fuck around like this??? and if so POST AUDIO!!

Sure, its big in LA.
One friend of mine recently made a sample library of all circuit bent sounds.
Dr. Rek, leader of the Circuit Bent marching band, and all around Bending nutcase, lives in Japan these days.
Daedelus is a circuit bender also.
I like bending, though i personally, am more into bending from an informed position.
I use a 20 year old Radio Shack 130 in 1 project kit, which has a number of synths you can build, and then you can really start fucking with shit.

You don't want to go with the post for that, these things cost less than the shipping service. Flea markets and 2nd hand shops are the way to go.£10 Bag wrote:i tried to circuit bend an old kiddie's keyboard i had but i broke itanyone know a good place to get kid's keyboards online for cheap? cheers
