Do you ever use the triplet grid when programming.
I am currently trying to reverse engineer the drum programming in a song by clark called for wolves crew and I am noticing that there is a part with the typical techno offbeat shaker but the shaker hit comes 1/32 triplet before the actual offbeat (or the 3 on a normal 16th grid). Do you think this is intentionally programmed or a result of some sort of swing being used?
Any other info or even reference to songs you know where triplet grids are used would be very appreciated!
