Under the counter business, go in and pick up a copy.

How else do you think they get into the market, I was talking to him about it and the bootlegger apparently said that Mala was not bothered by it.

Black market or nowadays discogs. I'm surprised shops sell them though, disrespectful imo. Vinyls hardly a thriving business so people aren't in it for the money so I'm a bit surprised to see shops buying straight up copied bootlegs.
I understand white label bootlegged remixes and stuff.. but not just straight up stolen tunes. Theres loads of tunes that go for silly money that I could easily get the wavs for and press them up. I wouldn't expect shops to buy them off me though.
The bootleggers hardly gunna go "fancy buying these, btw Malas well pissed and completely doesn't approve of it". Even if he isn't bothered I'm sure hes not overly happy about it.. people said he got annoyed at Commodo sending his remix of Miracles to Kahn
Fair enough, I see your point on the issue of it all and understand why most people would want to stay away from it as it's pretty much stealing music and lining your own pockets with the money made but clearly people are always willing to do it if there is a market.
I never thought about how annoyed Mala got over the Miracles remix so you are most likely right there.

Yeah I'm not people should or shouldn't buy it... was just a little shocked that shops would get involved in it, I wouldn't expect shops to sell copied CDs either See some dodgy home printed album cover which is cut out from a4 paper lol
Ah not going to be able to get to soho till sunday. Long. Should have bought it when I had the chance, same can be said for the Horse meat disco remix bit, that shit was like rocking horse crap cos I had done all of Soho record shops by 11 and not one copy to be had. Two popped up on discogs or £15 and were gone again within the hour.
