Northern Lights Black Hole Bass (FM maybe?)

So I need help from the veteran sound designers. How is this bass made? I've gotten a similar effect, but I definitely can't place all the modulation. I'm just interested in the wah-wah style bass. Also what kind of sub bass modulation do you hear? I hope I posted this in the right place as I am new here. Cheers to heavy music eh? =D
