i saw paleman in leeds recently, he was sick!

these days i'm really keen to write off the swamp stuff but they do play some proper heavy dark tunes. i think its just loefahs and bentons sets/material which piss me off a lil, mostly loefah

sounding pretty nice

might buy this since it hasn't got rinsed to usual swamp levels, plus they dont sound like the usual functional club tools

Imo, it's a little bit hipster to buy something because it sounds pretty nice and other people don't play stuff like it in their sets

well thats not why, its because usual swamp tunes get played so much that i get genuinely bored of them

those benton tunes are a prime example, seriously tired tracks at this point even tho I thought they were really fresh when I first heard them

Oh I see what you mean now.
Like, I'd always assume that just because they were dancelfloor tracks. Things you go out an hear occasionally that bring up good vibes, but then those vibes get old and you want to hear another track.
Fairs haha

Yeah to be honest though like if you were gonna be playing out wouldnt you want tunes no one else plays rather than the same old shit?
