There are only advantages of upgrading because you get the new arp/ReGroove tool/and Thor.
I think this is the OEM version so you don't get any box and possibly don't get any instructions (blokes don't need instructions any way

)

if you havent got a previous version of reason then this deal is the cheapest way of buying it, also that painos refill has been reviewed in a number of mags ive read to be 1 of the best piano sample packs around.
as for no manuals, it doesnt matter because the PDFs are all posted on the propellerheads site

Actually Weasel, I'm selling my production suite, it's Orion Platinum, comes with all the gear you want, 43 internel fx, 12 instruments etc, plus it supports VST/VST2//DXi/ASIO etc.
You can have it for £75
It's better than Reason

you get everything on discs. reason 3 comes on 3 cds in an official pack, its just not in a box, but you also get the manual.
the piano refill you get in an official cd case as well, with both you get the proper registration info and keys so u can register on props site and have access to the free refills and downloads incl the user forum.
reason 4 comes on a DVD
