Pretty cool mix from WIFE:
Soundcloud
Really enjoying his album, Tri Angle is becoming one of my absolute favorite labels

Re: the recommend some new music thread
I'm looking for ambient or down tempo, though dance music is also appreciated, that is obviously influenced by '80s synthpop, that is deep, but that doesn't get cheesy. Think the vibes of 'Purrple Splazsh' by Actress. I know it isn't ambient or downtempo, but it's not far from the vibe

streaming more music, less hard-copy action
FKA Twigs
inc.
I should prep this list with my extreme bias and affinity for Hyperdub Records,
10 looks to be comp of the year!
Burial- Rival Dealer, especially "Hinders", that song is so amazing! + it's another dimension to the Burial legacy, it shows that formatting and configuring rhythms and soundscapes in a positive light isn't "against" the Burial philosophy. Darkness is only as intriguing as the unknown XIII, to step in and "hold the sunlight", it's just a nice reminder that "you don't have to be alone", that the victim mentality is a choice, that sadness is beautiful, and suffering is temporary (such as life).
Juan Atkins's Boiler Room
(#1 on my list with a bullet)
Fhloston Paradigm
Flowdan prod. Footsie (great beat, grime/trap hybrid)
MALA- Expected
gash through the portal
Looking forward to The Bug's new album
Want to buy Actress's Box-Set, can't wait for that
La Roux, she's got a special flair that other singers lack
Mostly Rinse.FM, Rinse.22
Beyonce, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Pusha T
Death Grips, Wolf Eyes, The Dead C.
Sinjin Hawke, Rustie, TNGHT
Kit Kat, Magik Sexy-Beast, the Misfits, the Doors
Patti Smith's Horses, one of my favorite albums!!
Dirty Bird Crew,
San Francisco,
"Represent"
They really kill it out here, good vibes!
FKA Twigs
