Jeff Mills is something you have to experience live. Which is not hard as he has an insane schedule in summer Saw him like 5 times without trying. Although, if you mostly go to house or dubstep nights, that's different of course.

Cool Axe, I'll keep an eye out for Jeff Mills shows. Reason why I wanna hear his album is cos of that interview he did (theres a thread about it on here) where he was talking about how he likes his techno to appeal beyond just the dancefloor and I was just wondering if his music actually does that...



You know with that mushimushi, they used to cool as fuck until like a year ago, had loads of mint vinyl that they sold for about 12-13 quid. No idea what happened there

I've been going through the discogs pages for some of my favorite labels and checking out their really early stuff that i might not have and i'm really digging a lot of the early tempa releases like Horsepower - When You Hold Me, Gorgon Sound, Murderous Style, HP, Kode9, and Culprit - Fat Larry's Skank & Tales from the Bass Side, and especially the "Special 4 Track EP" by Benny Ill & Hatcha.

What artists/labels would you recommend for this kind of shit? Was it mainly just Benny Ill, Hatcha, Kode9 and El-B that made this kind of dark garage? Who else should I check out?
