hahahahah innit. this one will look good in the case.

but I hate jealousy and feelings of the like. let me watch the people of whom Im jealous fucking rather than feel the feeling of fear of them fucking, I say. Im a fruit, probs enjoy it too. despite the initial cock comparison and moan-o-meter readings.

my little sister is only 20 (maybe 21? i forget) and shes infinitely more wise than fucking loadssss of people my age, and a considerable amount of people who are older than me. always go to her for level headed and unbiased advice

pretty rare for a 20 y/o though tbh haha, theyre mostly little idiots

bigup man hope u have a nice time with her / hope it goes well, especially if she's a relatively sane / down to earth lass, theyre hard to find :w: x

copy paste from dnb forum

I had one of the shittest, most humiliating, nooby experiences of my life a few hours ago.. fuck im still mad

on warm up duties, i was using Serato, the guy before me, USB, and I had severe technical difficulties, couldnt get any sound apart from some faint farting sound, it was taking ages, I pulled up the other guys tune because I was running out of time, played it again and still no sound, then it all cut out and I was stood there, sweating like a fat headed retard in silence for what felt like an hour, fumbling around. Eventually one of the 'headliners' came and started an hour early to keep it going.

My control CD felt funny when it came out of the CDJ, like, misty or something, no idea, anyway, shit experience

Lesson learnt - if you're playing digital, it never hurts to keep a USB or two worth of backup tunes in your bag just in case. (Assuming you've got CDJs w/ USB input). Or at least 30mins worth of vinyl if you're using turntable control surfaces.

And the DJing fuck ups you pick up along the way make for some of the best anecdotes :4:

that's the one reason I'll never ever bother with traktor/serato again.
play vinyl (bring your own needles) or cds or usb sticks. much more reliable. and fuck playing in a club without turntables, wtf.

I was playing the opening set for Skeptical in february, and when the second dj was scheduled to take over, his traktor interface / rca cables / whatever acted up and he could only use one deck. I had to call for two mates to cover his set using cds. fucking horrible. had enough records left to bridge the 10min-gap, but it was a pain in the ass nonetheless. nothing you want to happen at your own night.
