got a bit more info.Lazy Alf wrote:St Holdings fuckin' it up big time imo. I can't really see how this could be good news, yet I've saw comments on FB where people say it's a good move![]()
Plus it seems they've done it in a real nasty way to those they let down. Looks like they just announced it more or less out of the blue, telling them that in 7 days their deal is over... but the Dispatch store is already down.
That doesn't sound good AT ALL regarding the future of ST Holdings even after scaling down.
Dispatch decided to leave ST by themselves, apparently. the way ST communicated their "down-sizing" did its share of work in the decision though. so I guess it was kind of a close call..?
interested to see what labels will stick with ST.

Don't believe everything you read, a lot of labels had already left. I think they are trying to save face with that statement #underground

Re: What record/etc. did you just buy?
yeah, don't usually fuck with live recordings of gigs innit, but its a classic. like a lot of nirvana tunes but much prefer them acoustic/ less intense. copped the bowie original too just cos its a big tune, probs prefer the nirvana version tho, never been a big bowie fan
Re: What record/etc. did you just buy?
Copped the CD of Nevermind the other day, forgetting I had it on wax. Oh well, only cost me a penny
Hadn't listened to it in years (other than 'Drain You' <3), think because Nirvana were really big again when I was a teenager, I was so overexposed to it I couldn't listen to it and appreciate how sick it is.

When this was released 10 years ago, it completely destroyed everything being played on commercial rock radio at the time (probably because it was made in 93!)...
