So... NWA's back catalog is gonna take a hit on Beatskiportski or whatever they use.

Beginning to think it probably sucks to be Russian right now. I dunno. :|

But seriously, Russian sites are the worst. I've had to ban so many Russian sites for the SEO practices not to mention finding my music up on illegal Russian mp3 sites.

Sucks for Russian music, theater and cinema though and maybe shows that Russia is moving back to its old Soviet ways.

in the "Russia banning stuff" category, i prefer this one:
The Russian Ministry of Labor has come up with a list of phrases not to be uttered by government officials, as they can be perceived as encouraging bribery.

Russian bureaucrats see their right for freedom of speech trampled upon. According to recommendations issued by the Ministry of Labor, civil servants should not say anything like:

- “The problem is challenging, but we could solve it”
- “Thanks don't put food on the table”
- “We’ll have to discuss the options”
- “So what are we going to do?”

These idioms have long been used by Russians as hints at the need to sweeten a deal.

so what are we going to do?

Big big swing to the right: nationalism and social conservatism... been interested in the whole National Bolshevism phenomenon too. That's some scary shit right there.

Pretty much just a continuation of Stalinist policies. If you think about it, Russia has been under totalitarian rule for the past 500+ years.
