The most recent outlook party topped out at £30 in a venue that must hold 3k and they didnt even have to get the lot of em across the Atlantic.

Seems £22 which is standard Fabric or most "big" events is an early bird. I suppose when you add in that all the Artists arnt from the USA it adds up.

distance surprised me last year in outlook with his set

i'm not sure if you'd be into it but when i saw him on nye at system it was suffocatingly heavy without being screechy tearout, i was impressed first time i'd seen him, stuff along the lines of tunnidge rag and bone and i enjoyed going nuts to victim support but i would understand if people aren't so into that

Nigeria kidnapped girls 'shown' in new Boko Haram video

A video purporting to show around 130 of the schoolgirls kidnapped in Nigeria almost a month ago, has been released by the Islamist group, Boko Haram.

The group's leader, Abubakar Shekau, said they would be held until all imprisoned militants had been freed.

Boko Haram abducted more than 200 girls in northern Nigeria on 14 April and threatened to sell them.

Reconstruct sounds like the shittest place on the planet. That list of rules is basically the embodiment of what I don't like about current dubstep. Everyone determined to be all about the music and "meditating on bass weight" (fuck that phrase by the way) and to be the elite and no-one can do anything else except be as serious about dubstep as possible because they all listen to the "real dubstep".

Fuck's sake it was made by dudes in their bedrooms and played out in clubs because it was decent. It's not some mega serious thing to be all pure about. I don't see the point of trying to push a scene as a counterculture movement if you then get all image obsessed and elitist with who can listen to it and how.
