I'm using Toxic 3, I have attached a .zip file with a screen shot of my synth settings and the MP3 sample.

If you look at the EQ on the synth 2k-8k have been played with but I have since reset them and I still getting the same problem.

Re: Subs aren't necessarily necessary
i read this too and have been using the technique ever since...billy the robot wrote:I remember reading years ago in ATM magazine about a d&b producer who had lost a lot of his hearing and suffered from tinnitus, I believe it was Optical, produced killer bass by putting his hand over the hole in his studio monitors to feel the push of air coming out. The fatter the bass, the more push he felt. Technique works well with my little shelf speakers at home. Try it, experiment a bit.
it works too!

Yeah, what's happening isn't caused by the synth. As one note comes in, the last one hasn't completely finished one cycle, so it's being forced to jump to zero from a level that isn't zero. That kind of fast movement generates a harmonic, and you get the click.Future Producer wrote:I'm using Toxic 3, I have attached a .zip file with a screen shot of my synth settings and the MP3 sample.

I dunno the specifics of how to sort it, I don't own Toxic 3. But if I was you, I'd start by taking the 'Poly' down to 1. If that didn't work, I'd just mess around with the other numbers and buttons up in that top left corner. Making it Mono and giving it a quick legato would definitely solve the problem, and that's not something people would notice in the mix. But then, would they notice the click in the mix either?
Heavy patch either way bro

Easy all i have been using spirit absolut 2 monitors for 11 yearz and find if u keep the levels easy on the ears you get a better mix and then when you think u got it turn that fucker up and turn that sub on and really piss ur neighbours off to the point babylon roll round and tell u to turn it down or they will take ur equipment -
