United fans think they have already bought Kroos. The rumour is they have bought him for £20m. That's clearly bullshit. They bought Fallaini the tree for £27m.

The Arsenal transfer windows are normally pretty poor. You guys never spend. I've heard that you are going to try and buy Benzema.

Supposedly we'll be losing;

Shaw to United
Lallana to Liverpool
Lovren to Liverpool
Schneiderlin to any one of about five teams at the moment
Pochettino to Tottenham (supposedly)

And we've just had confirmed Robinson is going to Bolton permanent, which is gutting as he was looking good in his development.

C'est la fucking vie

It's going to be weird with united because they have all the money in the world to spend but no cl, which usually means an inflated price on their targets, yet they have to cement themselves in this season.

They'll probably end up giving Rooney another raise somehow :6:

It must be dire when your club is a regular 'Selling' club. Surely if you sell all your most talented players and get relegated, you lose more from getting demoted to the championship in the long run then the money ascertained from the player sales. Getting re promoted ain't no easy task.

It was because we were a selling club that we were able to get b2b promotions in the first place. Walcott, Chamberlain, Bale (to an extent). All helped us out of division one with the income from their sales.

I really believe that Pochettino is the most important aspect and de Boer might head to spurs now that luis enrique is going to barca.

was pochettino set on leaving or was it just because his name came up?

Was too fun going round Outlook last year and telling random gooners that we'd signed Ozil and seeing their jaws drop

He always said that he wasn't going to stay with Cortese gone and has yet to renew his contract.

my citys club got relegated aswell but that was after having two seances with actual ghost busters and appointing a 30 year old as headcoach/sporting director during the relegation struggle in the last 15 games

kind of a racist shit club though so deserved

interesting to see how saints reinvest, regardless what they say some of those transfer incomes are going into debts. Pochetino might be best going now but spurs is a v poisoned chalice
