The irony is he died a virgin.

If wanted to have sex so bad why didn't he just go to a "massage parlour"?

couldn't agree more. the comments below most "news" articles and the "revenge" videos are quite... painful to read through.
I completely agree, he does deserve worse. He needed to be locked away in a maximum security facility with a bunch of hardcore bastards that makes him regret everyday what he did. That would have been really sweet! It makes you wonder how that would have been possible because if he was still alive, would his family support him by paying for the best defense possible? Would they try to paint him as an individual incapable of making proper moral decisions and make an insanity plea? Would he eventually reside at a quiet state mental facility on behalf of tax payers?
People like him make me fear for my life every time I walk out the door cause I'm a young woman who may have "comitted a crime" in rejecting someone I wasn't attracted to.

Since when is it a CRIME to not have feelings for someone? Since when is it OKAY for people to "punish" women because they don't have feelings for someone?

And don't you dare come at me with excuses defending this man's actions because there is NOTHING that, in ANY way, was good enough reason to do what he did.

And don't you dare come at me saying "not all men are like that", because how on earth am I supposed to know which guy I rejected will RESPECT that, or which guy will pull out a gun and shoot me because his FEELINGS were hurt.

People use that all the time to justify their massively insecure attitudes around women sleeping about in the way they want to when it's actually a shit analogy what with people actually being people not keys.

Also where the hell do gay and bi people fit in the key analogy?

Not that it matters on whether it's a good analogy, just curious

Fair enough that your criticizing it but by saying we live in a society of it kind of sounds like it's giving the analogy some credit for truth when it's clearly something someone thought up to justify their attitudes not to observe reality

This discussion has nothing to do with bi and homosexual people. It's pretty clearly about hetero women being 'oppressed' by homo men.
Also, the analogy is used to explain the logic behind an opinion, and if you follow its implications through, you'll find them to be consistent with the ideals of the people who say it. Lastly, as benny said, he wasn't supporting it, so read carefully before jumping in.

^ of course you're right, wolf. however, most people* still tend to believe a lad who gets a lot of women to sleep with him is a tough guy whilst a girl in the same situation would be considered a bitch. the analogy was simply brought up to illustrate this problem. nobody said it's a good one, but it's one that still sticks with a lot of minds.

pardon my english, horrible once again.

*no scientific evidence to back it up, sorry.
