Not so much as offended, I could give a fuck, but I am really annoyed. That wasn't something I necessarily wanted my 8 yo girl to see, and it was absolutely impossible to stop her from seeing it again and again. We don't even have a tv, but she's got an ipad, and all her friends have phones and tablets. Every single day of my life (literally) I gotta hear about Miley now. My daughter doesn't like her, or her music, it is more like ridicule, but Miley IS in her thoughts, and I don't want her there. My daughter knows that Miley is a bit of weaponized culture, and she knows that she is the target, but that hasn't prevented the harm.
