Redslime - Dreaming

Post by redslime » Wed Jun 04, 2014 9:55 pm

My new track from my EP 'No Wonderland' which I called 'Dreaming'. Its some melodic dubstep with more of a saw synth as its main bass.

hope you enjoy :)

Bit on the droney side with the midrange synth sound. Drums vary a little towards the end to break up the repetition, but felt like it was missing a hook element like a vocal or lead melody to give it some identity.

Not just trying to ride wub's back on feedback here, but he really did cover all the basses. Another thing you can do is add some more layers to your main bass and just variate the composition. But yea meng, bring that tune to life somehow...

its a bit dry for me, you need to add more life to it, but nice chord progression and piano

Yeah this would definitely benefit from some sort of hook or lead. If you didn't want to layer your bass or change its sound, you could add some more basses in the breaks between when your main synth hits.
