lol to a degree i actually agree with that. you don't really feel homeless when you're sofa surfing, I didn't fully realise my situation until I couldn't stay at my mates any more. you don't want to be comfortable if you're homeless, you need to be pushed towards sorting yourself out.

Of course I don't "agree" with it, it's just the nature of society and the way the world works. I'd favour a more democratic, egalitarian society but we know the world is governed by corrupt corporations and politics.

Often the only winners in the immigration thing is employees getting cheap labour, not the people who lived there originally as they get undercut on jobs and not the immigrants themselves who have to work for little money and get exploited. I don't think they really all have a better skill set-they don't speak the native tongue and if their skillset was so good their own countries industries and economies would be flourishing. Which they're not.
