Wonder Beats - Distance (WIP) Need Advice

Post by Wonder_Beats » Thu Jun 12, 2014 4:06 pm

Hey guys,

I've been working on this track for awhile now. I feel that it is pretty much complete but to me there is something missing. I'm really trying to make that step to get to the next level with my music but I don't exactly know what I need to do.

I was hoping someone could give me some advice as to where I can improve on this track.
Thanks and I hope you like it.

Hey Wonder beats, after listening to your track i can hear that the mixdown needs work. The kick does not have the power it needs, the snare is ok but again could be more powerful in the mix. Are you using any plugs or eq on them?

The synths are a bit uncontrolled also, better use of eq can help here or maybe a little compression. To make them feel more together.

Im not an expert but i hope that helps a little mate.

Thanks man, I really appreciate your comment. I definitely agree that the mixdown process is my weakest point.
