All that melts away when the lights are down and the bass is up.

Being deeply in love by someone give you the strength to endure all the pain in order to be with the person you love.

Re: Irritating shit on facebook
So, a chapter of my life is ending. Three years of hard work have culminated with the exams and results, and soon, graduation. The time spent in the UK, with friends from Brunei and new friends in Uni, have been wonderful and priceless. I hope I can cherish the moments for as long as I live, and I hope that my memory will not fail me.
The end of University has been kind of anti-climactic. After the last exam, I went home to go have a shower and sleep, because I only had a maximum of four hours of sleep the night before, the others were spent on revision. I did not join my coursemates to go out and have a meal, because I was super tired and looked a bit unfresh.
I spent the week after preparing for my viva (which was horrible, in my honest opinion) and for my presentation. Five days reading through my project report, detecting overlooked errors in grammar and spelling, worrying that I will be questioned about them. Preparing a PowerPoint presentation, stressing about which font and background colour to use, what points to include and what points to omit. In the end, I did the interview and presented, and just like that, I was done with University.
Fast forward two weeks later, sat in the room where most of the revision happened, the Reading Room. Where banter was flung around like tennis balls in Wimbledon, jokes made fit for a comedy show, countless scrawlings on countless papers from countless trips to the printer. Bernard then came in, each of us then approached him and he then gave our respective envelopes, which contained our classification. Everyone proceeded to avoid each other, standing in the corner, opening the envelope, and crying, either from tears of joy or of sadness.
All in all, it is ending. All the memories have flooded past as I sat outside Haworth 101, remembering labs, tutorials, lectures, workshops, meetings with lecturers and supervisors, revision, times of relaxing, even countless instances where people would Facebook message me asking what answer I obtained for past paper questions.
University to me is not all about work; it is also where friendships were made, and alas, now they are ending. The friends that I have in University, who knows who will stay in touch. Who knows when I will see them next. Who knows where and when we will cross paths. As small as the world may be, our paths are mostly likely to resemble two straight lines, the point of intersection being the time in University, and from then on, we shall go our separate ways.
To the graduates of BSc Chemistry 2011-2014, I shall see you on Graduation Day. To the MSci students, all the best for Year 4. It has been nice knowing the people in Chemistry, in Cool Runnings, mutual friends, et cetera. Thank you for all your time and help, and I wish you all the best in your future endeavours. May your path be enlightened to make way for greatness.
God bless you all.
