Re: SYSTEM 2ND BIRTHDAY
Big session, Karma and Om Unit both smacked it, V.I.V.E.K's set was my favourite though I reckon, big ups Jurkhands and RKM, good to meet you, apologies if I was in bit of a state

Angels fell at the end was straight fire. Probably one of my favourite jungle tunes. Trust nobody, roll with the punches and sunbeam VIP were personal favourites.
On units set was hype, quality dubstep tunes, some footwork and his own tunes then some top jungle to finish off. Karma's set was really damn good too, loads of really subby sound system tunes and vivek played a top set too but I gotta say the guests smashed it for me.
Did karma play how ya feel VIP?

All that melts away when the lights are down and the bass is up.

Realised I never actually properly said Hi to marcus even though we pretty much lost our shit next to each other for most of the night

Re: SYSTEM 2ND BIRTHDAY
Vivek played the best set ive ever seen from him at a System by far.
2hrs+ but at no point did it stutter or drag, massive selection (so much for no classics!
Request Line/Trust Nobody/Mere Sher, werent complaining tho) + some lost gems (Motherland VIP yip) Swear in the 2nd hour he kept upping it to halftimey 170 then bringing in back down with Fally Ranking/System Sound dubplate, worked strangely tho!
Ending with Pirates into Your Eyes just shouldnt be allowed, big right stack luv for that.
Karma was sick opener, great mix of dubbyness and aggyness, SP on mic again was ideal.
The rig sounded MUCH better than the 2nd birthday, really makes a difference. Was up there levels-wise with the 1st birthday.
What i saw of Om Unit was great too but was far too spangled so had to drop early again, probs a good call as took me 3.5hrs lolloping round central trying to find a bus to New Cross haha
Good to meet u RKM sorry for trying to rob your hat. Nice to chat to you b4 Marcus & all crew inside

Kinda wish J Kenzo played too, I got hyped when heard it was about. Seeing Kahn around the decks I thought he might play, but it was quite late in the night already.

Loads of celebs about haha. Wandered round the left-stack when looking for my mate and saw Loefah, Yunx, Kenzo all lurking around in about 30 secondsRiddles wrote:Kinda wish J Kenzo played too, I got hyped when heard it was about. 10 points to lenham, my mate did use to use it when fishing as well, no 5 panels diego i'm afraid
yeah saw kahn and om unit having a chat by the bar haha assumed they'd be on after karma and vivek, it's definitely getting much bigger swear, new smoking corral thing is peak as fuck and i miss the stamps
karma was phat, smear dub vip and warning dub were huge, really impressed by him
vivek just as good as ever (you think he pays himself double when he books himself for 2 hours haha)
om unit fast becoming one of my favourite djs, fucking sick mixture of stuff
oh yeah and it felt like the system was a lot heavier this time that was nice, although you couldn't really hear the flutey didoodidoo roll with the punches bit at all
edit: and shout out to everyone i met

Re: SYSTEM 2ND BIRTHDAY
100% felt like the most packed one so far, bar queues were LONG @ this one. Not about being in that queue when you hear the Trapped hi-hats get teasedRKM wrote: it's definitely getting much bigger swear

Also just remembered VIVEK drawing for Head-Top
